The hero nobody asked for, delivering a truth the industry does not particularly want to hear. The dewpoint limit in ASHRAE 62.1 is quietly doing the job the codes should have been doing all along, and getting very little credit for it. It also answers the session before it. If what is missing is an agreed and verifiable method, then 62.1 is not simply proof that a rule can exist. It is a worked method, with a number, a trigger, exceptions and a requirement for controls capable of holding it. This session reads that limit as it stands. What it says, what triggers it, and what it would mean applied to an Australian building. Not a committee history and not an insider account, but an Australian practitioner reading a foreign standard and asking the obvious question. The Dark Knight framing carries a certain gravitas. This is not a joke, the stakes are real, and the work matters.
