A Few Good Shoulds

A Few Good Men turns on whether an order was ever actually given. This session turns on something similar. A duty of care to manage moisture already exists, so the obligation is not the thing that is missing. What is missing is an agreed and verifiable method for discharging it. AS1668.2 does not merely leave moisture out. Its scope clause excludes humidity and condensation by name. The shoulds are real, but they sit in commentary the standard itself disclaims and in two non-mandatory handbooks. In a minimum-compliance environment some could argue that that amounts to the same thing as not existing.
